The collection includes a nicely populated early period section, where the collector accommodated numerous plate and shade varieties in addition to ‘official’ spots provided! Just some of the notable individual standouts include such highlights like mint #64, 119, used #4, 26, 28, 37, 39, 40, 42 (2), 43 (5), 43a (2), 44 (2), 45, 48, 59, 61, 62 (5 different plates incl #17), 65 (2), 66, 67-68, 70 (2), 85, 87, 94, 102, 105, 107, 117, 120, and more! The collection carries on through three quarters of the 20^thcentury with a strong focus on the Machin Head designs, including hudnreds of first and seccond class stamps! Just tallying straightforward postal face value, it quickly adds up to just shy of £1,200 ($1,600!)!
