WORLDWIDE COLLECTION IN 31 SCOTT INTERNATIONAL VOLUMES – Massive lifelong collection of perhaps 100,000 different issues housed in 31 volumes essentially covering the world from A to Z even though the organization of the collection is somewhat eclectic and it loops onto itself a couple of times. Most of the volumes represent a couple national collections, quite a few volumes could very well be individual collections in their own right. The collection is somewhat Eurocentric with Germany, France, Russia, and Romania just to mention a few taking center stage, mostly featuring material from around the middle of the 20^th century, even though the timeframe varies throughout from The Penny Black in Great Britian’s section to modern stamps from the 1980s within the same GB section. This would be a fantastic resource for old school worldwide collector with matching global ambitions for their portfolio, while at the same time the lot quite naturally offers itself for breakdown and resale.
