This lot has seven mostly different volumes from that series and overall contains tens of thousands of different stamps with a very high aggregate catalog value. The albums themselves show their age, two have missing covers and the general impression is such that you'll have little trouble believing that these albums are over 80 years old. But there are many better stamps here and the quality of the stamps is far better than the albums. The album will break up well for resale or for integrating into a larger collection. This lot was purchased some fifteen years ago for $9000 plus commission from a large northern New Jersey stamp auction company.
