ITALY - Very broad mint and used collection of some 2,000 different issues covering a range of sub-sections of Italian philately including Italian Colonies, Offices Abroad, individual states, and of course the main section of Italia proper. Timewise the collection covers a century and a half long period from just before Italian unification going all the way to 2015 and Euro symbols adorning Italian stamps instead of Lira. The collection is very neatly organized in five volumes on Scott identified pages and would contribute Italian portfolio with individual standouts like Italy  mint #21, 119-122, 124-125, 140-142, 232-238, 310-314, 408, used #24-33, 35, 37-44, 55, 58-63, 66, 76-91, and many other highlights culminating with the 21^st century issues adding up to some 100 Euros in postal face value alone. The lot includes an equally attractive back-of-the-book section with better like mint #B9, B20-B25, C5, C35-C39, C52-C55, C66-C72, C79-C83, CE8-CE9, used #C2, J3-J20 among them and more. However the broad range of sub-topics covered is one of the most attractive features of this collection like better issues from Italian East Africa mint #C2, used #C11, and others from Italian sphere of political influence.
